Flyers sent last week by the gym, which is situated on 3550 S. Clark Street in the National Gateway complex close to Potomac Yard, stated that it will close on Friday, December 1, at 2 p.m. and reopen as “Club Studio Fitness.”

 

In addition to confirming the interim closure, club manager Dennis Balnikov estimates that the renovations will take six months to a year.

"The entire gym will be rebuilt," Balnikov said ARLnow.

 "New equipment will be installed, and membership fees for this Club Studio will vary," he stated.

 Club Studio, an upscale exercise and wellness concept with a variety of classes, including yoga and pilates, along with "luxury amenities" like cryotherapy and recovery chambers, was introduced earlier this year by LA exercise parent company Fitness International.
